Federal government moves to scrap SSAF

Last night, the new federal Education Minister, Christopher Pyne, announced that under a Coalition government, the Higher Education sector would see the removal of the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).

This is the fee that funds your student newspaper, student advocates, clubs and societies, exam breakfasts, parking and SportUNE access during intensives, weekly pancakes, BBQ and music in the Northern Courtyard, UNE Well Fair, and many other projects.
